  • Dashrata was promised four sons at the cost of a horse sacrifice

  • Vishnu the preserve protects against evil
  • People cried out to Vishnu
  • Vishnu came to earth to defeat Ravana
  • Ravana was the monarch of Rakshasas
Vishvamitra
  • Vishvamitra is a sage with a strong determination to stop Ravana (monarch)
  • Vishvamitra requests aid from the King
  • Vishva request Rama to battle Ravana
Thataka
  • Thataka is a shapeshifting woman 
  • Rama's first battle is with Thataka
  • He kills Thataka and receives celestial weapons as a reward
Bhagiratha and Ganga
  • Ganga is a goddess who was brought down to earth
  • Bhagiratha brought the river Ganges to earth
Ahalya
  • a poem
  • Indra changes appearance to look like Gautama
  • Does it so he can get close Ahalya 
  • Ahalya is the wife of Guatama
Sita
  • Sita is the avatar of Lakshmi
  • Sita and Rama fall in love with each other
King Janaka
  • Sita is the daughter of King Janaka
  • King Janaka rules over Mithila
  • For one to marry Sita they must be able to bend the bow of shiva
Rama Wins Sita
  • Rama passes the test of bending the bow of shiva
  • Rama is allowed to marry Sita
Parashurama
  • Like Rama, Parashurama is an avatar of Vishnu
  • Parashurama decides to challenge Rama
Rama and Sita's Wedding
  • Rama and Sita get married
Rama the Heir Apparent
  • Dasharatha has to appoint a successor to the throne
  • Rama was chosen to be the heir out of the 4 sons
Manthara and Kaikeyi
  • Manthara does not want Rama to be the heir and wants him exiled
  • Manthara is a servant who works in  Kaikeyi's home
Kaikeyi and Dasharatha
  • Kaikeyi agrees with Manthara 
  • Kaikeyi also believes her son should be the heir
Rama is Banished
  • Rama was astonished to be exiled during his ceremony

Rama Goes into Exile
  • In order to be honorable to his father, Rama leaves willfully
  • Sita and Lakshmana decide to join him
  • He decides to leave for 14 years
Crossing the River
  • Changed their hair to matted locks the customary hairstyle of people in the forest
  • Sita vowed to worship the River queen
Dasharatha's Karma
  • Dasharatha believes he is receiving karma because he begins to remember a time he hurt young hermit
  • Before dying he believed his death was punishment for his transgressions in the past
Dasharatha's Death
  • Dashrata recalls a hunting accident and tells the story
  • Kushayla and Sumitra knelt beside him as he died

A War was starting and each of the sons and King got ready for the battle in order to defend the realm. The youngest son Thorfinn was meant to stay home and protect his mother and sisters. Thorfinn was very stubborn and loved to hunt with his brothers. Of course, he was extremely upset by this and decided to actually sneak on his family ship and go off to war too. Week 5 Story: The Streets

The Streets Tyrone and Sasha were a very loving couple and have gone through a lot together. They were together when Tyrone was arrested and sent away to live on his own. Tyrone and Sasha were together when Sasha was kidnapped by her crazy ex-boyfriend. This may have been one of the worst tragedies this couple has faced. However, through it all, they have stayed together and have managed to keep their relationship intact. This was until the rumors had started. Many rumors were surfacing that Sasha was not kidnapped by her crazy ex-boyfriend, but that she had left on her own accord to be with him. Tyrone did not want to believe the rumors and so he did what any man would do. Tyrone made a secret plan to test her. He decided he would have his friend slide in her DMS to see if she was loyal. Week 7 Story: Mr. Finesse

 Mr. Finesse Chris was a common lowlife and drug dealer in his neighborhood. He wanted badly to be able to get out of the drug game and go clean. However, the man who runs his block told him if he were to leave he would kill him. They called this man Ghost because not a lot of people knew his true identity. Only Chris and a few other close associates knew of his true identity, which is why Chris could not just go to the police and snitch. Chris had been plotting all kinds of ways to get out of his situation. He contemplated murder but knew of the consequences he may face. Then, his best idea had surfaced as he remembered that Ghost was a big fan of gambling. Chris also remembered his Uncle was a big-time gambler and somewhat of a finesser out on the streets. He could finesse his way out of anything and he was known for it. They called him Mr. Finesse on the streets. It did not matter the circumstance, whatever challenge he was faced with Mr. Finesse like his name could finesse it. ...
